In addition, regularly check the tap changer, including contact positioning, rotation flexibility, fastening, etc. The coil, arrester and bushing of the transformer shall be tested regularly, and the arrester must be reliably grounded. The judgment of power transformer fault based on the temperature, sound, appearance, oil level and other phenomena of the transformer can only be used as the preliminary judgment of transformer fault. The internal fault of transformer involves many factors, even sometimes there will be false appearances. Therefore, when judging the fault, a comprehensive analysis must be carried out in combination with electrical test, oil quality analysis, equipment maintenance, operation and other conditions to accurately determine the cause of the fault, position, damage degree of components or insulation, and then a reasonable treatment plan can be formulated.
